Express Entry (CEC, FSWP, FSTP) Applicaton

The Express Entry system is Canada’s flagship immigration pathway for skilled workers. It manages applications for three federal programs:

  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

Express Entry is a points-based system that ranks candidates based on factors such as age, education, work experience, language ability, and adaptability. High-ranking applicants receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.

How This Process Works
  1. Create an online profile and enter the Express Entry pool.
  2. Receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
  3. If selected in a draw, you receive an ITA.
  4. Submit your complete PR application within 60 days.

Your CRS score can be improved through additional language testing, education credentials, Canadian work experience, or a provincial nomination (worth 600 points).

Each program under Express Entry has its criteria:

  • CEC: For individuals with at least one year of Canadian work experience.
  • FSWP: For skilled workers with foreign work experience, education, and language ability.
  • FSTP: For individuals in skilled trades with job offers or certifications.
Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for Express Entry, you must:

  • Take a language test (IELTS or CELPIP)
  • Obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if educated outside Canada
  • Have at least 1 year of work experience
  • Meet the minimum CRS score for that draw
  • Be admissible to Canada (no serious criminal history or medical issues)

With our guidance at KGH Immigration Ltd., you won’t just enter the pool, you’ll compete with a strategy. We help you build the strongest possible profile and boost your chances of receiving an invitation to apply.
